Soerabi Bandung Enhaii & Batagor Ihsan Rawamangun Jakarta

This restaurant is a combination of two famous street foods in Bandung, namely Soerabi Enhaii and Batagor Ihsan. For those who live in Jakarta and craving for these foods, just come to Pemuda Street No. 18, East Jakarta. This restaurant is large-spacious and have separated area between smoking area and non-smoking area. The parking area for car and bike is large as well. They have nice and friendly atmosphere, such a good place for hang out with friends. Well what is Soerabi (or we can say serabi) actually? It is look like pancake but smaller and made from rice flour with coconut milk. Soerabi Enhaii has many variants of Serabi, from the sweet until the savoury flavours. This time I am gonna try the two of their recommended menus.

Soerabi Durian Keju
A serabi that poured with durian gravy and topped with grated cheese. The size of the serabi is really small, but the durian gravy and grated cheese are pretty generous. The gravy is really durian and so thick. I loooooove it! No wonder why people really recommend this menu! The price of one plate Soerabi Durian Keju is IDR 22K.

Soerabi Oreo Es Krim
This one is a serabi that given crumbled oreo and topped with ice cream. There are many flavours of the ice cream and I choose the vanilla one. Haha I am sorry for the melted ice cream in the photo. But the taste is good, sweet, but not too sweet. The small portion is perfect in order to avoid the overwhelmed of the sweetness! The price of one portion Soerabi Oreo Es Krim is IDR 22K.

Batagor
Batagor is one of traditional foods from Indonesia. Actually it is fried fish dumplings poured with peanut sauce. Then what makes this one different? Ah I can taste the hint of orange leaf in the peanut sauce! Yep the orange leaf makes the peanut sauce sooooo appetizing! The fried fish dumplings are fried well and moist on the inside. You must try! The price of one portion Batagor is IDR 19K.

Teh Tarik
Why is it named Teh Tarik? This tea is different in the pouring process of pulling the tea. Haha it is quite hard to explain. It consists of black tea and milk that mixed in the pouring process. The taste is okay, but not really surprising me. The price of one glass Teh Tarik is IDR 15K.

Here is the look of the non smoking area.

Overall I can say that this restaurant is recommended! I will have another visit to taste the savoury serabi. I get obsessed to visit their actual stall in Bandung as well. Hope I will have a chance to make it true! :D
