Enthok Slenget Super Pedas Kang Tanir

Traveling is a must when you visit Yogyakarta. Because this town is very rich with tourism objects and of course FOOD! But unfortunate most of signature foods in Yogyakarta are located at remote areas. I wish I had a car that will help me to reach those places. After searching for it, finally I found my dream car, Toyota Agya! I love every single detail from the exterior, interior, safety, and performance in it! Toyota Agya looks so gorgeous from the exterior, with beautiful and comfortable interior, spacious cabin and baggage, safety, optimal safety for child car seat installation (Oh I do really need this for my future niece, Abigael Shaqila Kurniawan! Aunt loves you!), and of course the performance of the car itself! I am gonna save my money each of the day so I could buy this dream car in the future. I love you, Toyota Agya!

Let's jump to one of signature foods in Yogyakarta. Enthok Slenget Kang Tanir that located at Turi. Kinda far from the town center. It might be around 15 or 20 kilometres if counted. Enthok means muscovy duck, and slenget means the spices that mixed into the curry of muscovy duck.

Oh look at this spices! Can you imagine how spicy it will be?

So this is the cooking process. I cannot wait for it!

Ta daaaa! It almost ready!

So here, there are white steamed rice, cucumber slices, shredded cabbage, and a plate of Enthok Slenget. Oh My God this is heaven! The chopped muscovy duck is very juicy and tender. Spicy, a lil' sweet, and savoury are combined really well. Though this restaurant located really far, the super delicious Enthok Slenget is worth the effort. Rich flavour and tasty pay off the distance that I went through to this place.

These cookies are mommies' good choice for their beloved children and families. Mom, seriously, you don't have to feel worry anymore because this is a very healthy snack for your children.

These cookies are also good for pregnant woman and breastfeeding moms. No preservatives food is a healthy choice during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Furthermore, for those who have allergy towards certain foods, you're lucky! These cookies are sugar free, gluten free, no preservatives, without using milk, egg, nuts, and so on. Thus, it won't cause any allergy reaction for you.

I love these cookies very much! It is so crunchy, a lil' bit moist, and I do like the raisins! It sweetens the cookies in a suitable way. Not too sweet, but prefect! Sad truth need to be spoken, it is kinda hard in finding these cookies at Yogyakarta. I visited supermarkets one by one, but found nothing. Thank God, there is still one supermarket selling these cookies!

NutriSari W'dank Bajigur

Bajigur is a signature drink of Indonesia, specifically from West Java. Bajigur is a mixed of coconut milk, coffee, palm sugar, vanilla, salt, granulated sugar, and topped with grated coconut. It is usually served in cold weather or when the temperatures are decreasing.

A glass of hot bajigur is usually sold at street vendors. It is perfect when you drink it accompanied by some Indonesian snacks such as onde-onde, putu, klepon, lupis, and so on. Now, bajigur is available in sachets! Which means that we can drink it anywhere and anytime when we need it! Good news for you who are on diet, NutriSari W'dank Bajigur is less sugar compared to the others! It tastes delicious though it is a less sugar drink!

I feel so lucky when NutriSari produced bajigur. First, traditional drinks rarely found in sachets. We often have to find street vendors first. But now, we can easily make it at home! Directly or not, NutriSari has been contributed in conserving Indonesian tradition. And it is a very good drink to be served when the whole family gathered at home!
