It's raining and I think we should eat something warm tonight. My brother suggests Soto Kudus that located at Laksda Adisucipto Street Yogyakarta. Wow, there are a lot of people in here. I bet that this Soto Kudus is so yum! Just got my seat and it doesn't need to be questioned, I directly order the Soto Kudus. Yes it is better than I was imagined. It tastes so delicious! Unfortunately, a bowl of Soto Kudus doesn't enough to satisfy my tummy. The bowl is so small and I have to order some more haha.  Furthermore, a bowl of Soto Kudus is only IDR 8K. I am looking forward to going back and trying Nasi Pindang! :D

Calais Artisan Bubble Tea & Coffee Yogyakarta

Calais is the best place to hang out with your friends. The place is strategic because it is located at Suroto Street No. 20 Yogyakarta near to the main store of Gramedia. Moreover the decoration makes you feel so comfort in here. Related with the name above, the menu in here is bubble tea, coffee, and some light meals such as calamari, popcorn chicken, and etc. Then what makes Calais special? Calais only uses the freshest tea leaves that certified grade A and imported directly from Taiwan. But...do you ever think that Indonesia has a lot of tea gardens that spread around Indonesia? Then why they need to import the tea leaves? Oh let's jump to the coffee, the coffee beans originally come from Indonesia and roasted by infamous local roaster. Okay now I understand why the taste is so good! I've tried some bubble tea in some places but it tasted too sweet, Calais is not! And it is not only the bubble, you can choose another topping to your drink such as egg pudding, mango pudding, aloe vera, grass jelly, coffee jelly, red bean, and etc. Oh you will be given a card by the cashier when you order the drink, and you asked to collect 10 stamps to get a free drink. About the facilities, there are free Wi-Fi, air conditioner, plugs, and large parking area. Perfect place for you who need to relax and refresh your mind from the traffic jam :D

Didypi Gerobak-ku Café Yogyakarta

Didypi Gerobak-ku Café located at Cempaka Street No. 7 Deresan Yogyakarta. The concept of this café is totally different! Simple and green. Simple because it is outdoor, there is no such kind of complex decoration that oblige you to wear fancy dress. But green because you will be surrounded by a lot of trees. I love it in here. Even though there is no plug for the gadget that out of battery, but the fresh air is worth more than that. Moreover, this café is recommended for you to build up your friendship by interaction absolutely and leave your mobile phone behind. Yeah it just distract your real life. The menu in here is quite unique because some of them are not same with the menu in other café. Such as fried red rice, poffertjes, asinan, and many others that you can see on the photo below. The price is different as well. The prices of all of the food in here are below than IDR 11K. Furthermore, the service is quick and friendly. I recommend you this café even though this is a review on a one time visit because I can give you an honest opinion about whether I would come back for 2nd, 3rd, or 545th visit! :D

Naturalism School of Thought

This school of thought has opinion that law applied universal and eternal. According to Friedman, the history of natural law is the history of mankind in their effort to find the absolute justice. The definition of natural law sometimes changes depends on the changes in society and the political situation.

Throughout the history can be known the role of natural law in the variety functions, such as:

• The natural law is used to change the old Roman civil law into a law system that applicable to the whole world

• The natural law is used as a weapon in the conflict between the church and the medieval German emperors

• The natural law is used as the basis of international law and the basic freedoms of individuals against the absolute government

According to the sources, the natural law can be divided into two kinds, namely:

• The natural law that comes from God (irrational)

• The natural law that come from the human ratio (rational)

Thomas Aquinas divides the principles of the law of nature into two types:

• Principia prima is the principles that owned by the mankind since born and the characteristic is absolute. Principia prima cannot be changed in any place or/and under any circumstances. For example, the Ten Commandments by God.

• Principia secundaria is derived from the principia prima. It is not absolute and can be changed depends on the time and place.

The background of the emergence of human ratio in natural law thinking started with the birth of an era that well known as we know as Renaissance, an era when human beings rediscover their personality. Renaissance has led to a sharp change in all aspects of human life. The universality character where the teachings of the church as the sole basis in every human motion ended by itself, as a result of the decreasing of people trust to the church functionary who prioritized the world rather than their duty as a sacred church functionary. Renaissance era has generated a new world that aroused the beginning of the individualism era continues to grow and grow rapidly until the now. The role of human ratio steps forward. Human ratio is no longer an interpretation of God. It is apart from the order of God. Therefore, now the human ratio now is the sole source of law.

Who doesn't love ice cream? Everybody loves Ice Cream! :D

Well, today I'd like to share Mary Anne's Ice Cream & Pancake that located at Mrican Baru Street No. 18 Yogyakarta. Even though Mary Anne is newly opened, it has already well known by people. It is seen from a lot customers in here. Okay I am starting to stare the menu. My choice is Oreo Cheese Pancake and added a scoop of Kitkat Ice Cream with totally price 28K. Oh you can get 10% discount if you have Larissa id card. It is such a good news for your wallet, isn't it? :D

Okay let's back to the pancake that I ordered. It tastes really nice! I am giving score 8 for it! Moreover, you will get a free tiny glass of water if you order a scoop of ice cream. And I heard that you will get discount for the second scoop of ice cream. My suggestion is better to bring a bottle of water from your home because that tiny glass of water doesn't enough to release your thirst.

All of the menu in Mary Anne are homemade without any preservative material and artificial sweetener. Thus, don't worry about your health besides ice cream itself is good to your mood.

Unfortunately the place in here is not quite comfort I think. Do not expect a sofa or a comfy seat in here. But don't worry, there are still air conditioner, free wifi, and tv.  Furthermore, there are some bells on the second floor if you need the service. Yup there are some plugs for your gadgets that out of battery.

Pepper Lunch Yogyakarta

Pepper Lunch finally opened their outlet in Yogyakarta. It is located at Plaza Ambarrukmo 3rd floor unit B 36-40 Yogyakarta. Pepper Lunch provides Japanese classic dishes, beef steak, salmon steak, and many others that you can see on the photo below. It is a teppan restaurant so you can cook it by yourself on the hotplate thus you can decide the medium rare or well done steak. But Indonesians  (including me) sometimes do not like the medium rare steak. Because afraid of E. coli bacteria and think that it is gross. Do not worry about that, you can ask the cashier to cook it for you. Meanwhile, for you who want to cook by yourself but do not know how to cook, just watch the tv. There are some tutorials how to cook your meat. The first time I went to here I ordered a big ribeye steak and it was really yum! However, the price was IDR 125K before the tax, not so friendly to my wallet. Thus, I would not come so often to here.

Es Teler 77

If Americans have McDonald's and KFC. Indonesians have es teler 77. One of fast food restaurant in the shopping mall. I am not pretty sure whether it is categorized as junk food or not. But I think it is not because the food in here is made of high quality ingredients. Es teler 77 provides Indonesian food, such as: Nasi goreng, soto ayam, mie ayam bakso, batagor, and etc. The taste? Absolutely delicious! I heard that Es Teler 77 established a delivery service. Unfortunately it just for certain places. Okay the taste and the quality are not needed to be questioned. However, the prices are not friendly to the wallet. Yeah never expect cheap price in the shopping mall. My suggestion is come here with your parents and you won't worry about your wallet! :D
