Tuanmuda Yogyakarta

A couple days ago I went to Tuanmuda outlet that located at Urip Sumoharjo Street Yogyakarta. What kind of food that provided at Tuanmuda? There are Takoyaki and Okonomiyaki. But it is well known with its Takoyaki. Takoyaki is a ball-shaped Japanese snack made of a wheat flour-based batter and cooked in a special takoyaki pan. You can choose among these: Filled with minced octopus (Sakori), added cheese as the topping (Unacheese), filled with corned beef, or spicy flavor. And the price is only IDR 12K or similar with US$ 1! This is the cheapest price of Takoyaki that I have ever found actually. But how about the taste and the quality? Do not worry this is the most delicious Takoyaki that I have ever tasted as well! It is much more delicious than Takoyaki that sold in the shopping mall. Unfortunately I didn’t find out about the quality thus I couldn’t guarantee whether it is fresh octopus or not. But see the positive side that I still alive and writing this, so we can conclude that the quality is pretty good! :D

As written on the menu above, Tuanmuda has its café at Tendean Street 21 Wirobrajan Yogyakarta. Another Japanese food is provided at there. Such as Ramen and Sushi.

Sushi Tei Yogyakarta

Sushi Tei located at Gejayan Street - Kompleks Colombo No. 9 Yogyakarta. Glad to hear that finally Sushi Tei open its outlet in Yogyakarta. Because some sushi restaurants in Yogyakarta are not served the common sushi in Japanese restaurants. Yup some sushi restaurants in here serve its sushi that filled with chicken nugget or something. Then why I chose Sushi Tei? This restaurant is really well known in Indonesia and I categorized it as a fancy restaurant because of the concept and the prices itself. But do not worry about it, the taste and the quality in here are worth with the price. Sushi Tei Yogyakarta is a little bit different with the other outlet of Sushi Tei. It is less crowded and you can feel more relax to hang out with your friends in here. Moreover, I heard that there will a free sushi for those who are birthday. Universitas Ice Juice, Siomay & Pempek Tumidjan 1 Yogyakarta

Universitas Ice Juice, Siomay & Pempek Tumidjan 1 or well known as Siomay Cantel, is a restaurant that located at Cantel Street No. 11 Yogyakarta.

Related with its name, the menu is juice, siomay, and pempek. What is siomay? It is a steamed fish dumpling with vegetables served in peanut sauce. It is derived from Chinese Shumai. It is considered as a light meal that is similar to the Chinese Dim Sum, but is cone shaped. It is traditionally made from tenggiri fish meat. Sometimes other types of seafood such as tuna, mackerel, and prawn also can be used to make siomay. Other complements to siomay are steamed cabbage, potatoes, bitter gourd and tofu. Siomay is cut into bite size pieces and topped with peanut sauce, sweet soy sauce, chili sauce and a dash of lime juice.

Okay this is the siomay that we talked about. Looks yum, isn't it? :D

Beside the siomay, this restaurant also well known with its juice. This morning I ordered a strawberry banana milk juice. It tasted really good! And the price is only IDR 6K. I bet you won't find this cheap juice in another town except Yogyakarta. :D
